Photo by Lindsey Tran (Understudy Studio)

Born and raised in Edmonton (ᐊᒥᐢᑲᐧᒋᐋᐧᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ), I am passionate about using photography to amplify marginalized voices, support local creators, and document meaningful relationships and events.

Lover of street photography, photobooks, prints, and music!

I’ve always been drawn to photographing people and moments with implications of people. This has manifested through documenting countless events and creating portraits over the past decade. The need for trust, relationality and the experience required to work well with others and press the shutter at just the right time for the subtlest of expressions and fleeting moments of connection and light - these are the challenges that keep pulling me back to the craft. I care about those I work with and I prioritize collaboration and respect to make meaningful images.

Although this site only highlights a few services, any opportunity I get to pick up my camera for somebody else is a welcomed one. So whether you’re releasing an album, need branding photos for your new business, event photos for your non-profit, have an idea for portraits of a specific community, BTS photos for a project - get in touch and let’s chat ✌️

If you would like a physical print of any of my photos, contact me to order. Prints are open edition.
